Camp Downtown: Washed in Water

Developed in 2007, Camp Downtown is a unique Vacation Bible School developed for the churches of the Downtown Ministerium. Each day, children will explore biblical stories through music, crafts, and other activities. Every afternoon, we will go on field trips and do fun activities in the community such as the Rivers of Steel Boat Tour, a spray park, and a field day at Point State Park. Lunches are provided each day along with a t-shirt.
This program is for children going into grades K-6, and youth in grades 7–12 serve as camp counselors. Adult volunteers are needed and appreciated. If you can help for all or part of the week, please indicate that on the registration form or talk to Vicar Alexis.
This summer, our theme for Camp Downtown will be Washed in Water. The cost will be $50 for the first camper, and $40 for each additional camper from the same household. Please make your check out to First Lutheran Church. Payment may be mailed to the church or turned in to Suanne O’Dell.
