First Lutheran has a number of fellowship groups that meet regularly.
Adult Fellowship Group
The Adult Fellowship Group (AFG) at First Church provides a time for our Adult members to come together and socialize. Events are open to all interested adults and their guests. It’s a great way to make new friendships with existing members and to introduce prospective members to the great people of First Lutheran Church.
Young Adult Fellowship Group
First Lutheran’s Young Adult Fellowship Group (YAFG) is geared toward people in their 20′s and 30′s or those young at heart and welcomes anyone interested in participating. In the past, we have done a variety of activities including: bowling, barbecues, house blessings and game nights.
Youth Group
The First Lutheran Youth is composed of members in 6th-12th grades. The Youth Group meets regularly for fun, fellowship and service. The group starts with a kick-off retreat weekend at a cabin. Other events include World Vision, Food Bank, bowling, skiing or attending the Annual Synod Youth Fest or the ELCA Youth Gathering.
Tween Group
The First Lutheran Tween Group is composed of members in 3rd-6th grades. The Tween group bridges the gap between family circus and the youth group. The group meets for fellowship events and service activities.
First Church Family Circus
First Church Family Circus is our fellowship group for young families–families with children ranging from infants to 7 years old and their siblings. Family Circus meets 2-3 times a year for fellowship, and fun with activities that include a fall and spring events. Often, the youth group helps at these functions.
Coffee Hour
A coffee hour is held every Sunday following the 11:00am service in Holy Cross Hall or in the courtyard, weather permitting.
